We work right on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, using desert land by the sea for our aqua- and agriculture, producing natural saltwater-based plant products and high-protein fish. We take care to use nature in accordance with the environmental values of all stakeholders.

The ProTerra team consists of local, national and international experts. Our employees are passionate about the cultivation of fish, halophyte plants and algae as well as their processing.
Many of our employees are, or are shaping up to be, specialists in their field. We succeeded to form a team of individuals, which through effective cooperation achieves more than the sum of its parts. We have successfully implemented this in our company over the last few years and we work on it every day to keep improving. We are proud of each and every one of our colleagues.

Our history
While conducting a global site analysis, the Atlantic coast in the south of Morocco emerged as the ideal location for our project. After the establishment of ProTerra Maroc Sarl, we spend the neext two years construction planning and land surveying. As part of the due diligence, an environmental assessment of the site was also carried out.
After signing the lease and building application, we started the construction of the facility. The innovation centre and the first two fishponds were built. Last year, we commissioned our fish hatchery, started cultivating algae and began preparations for the first salicornia harvest.
